Christmas 2010
Maddie’s been wanting the red Wii,
and I actually managed to surprise her by getting it!
She had no idea it was coming. :)
Her favorite color is RED,
and her pile of gifts looked like it was bleeding
by the time everything was opened!
Everyone else had a good Christmas as well.
Emma got five million Barbies,
which suited her just fine.
Courtney got clothes and makeup.
I got a new necklace, a candle,
drinking glasses (because Maddie keeps breaking mine),
a cd, etc etc.
It was a blessed day.

The Striped Sweater song
The kids are always singing the "Striped Sweater song" from
Spongebob, and today they all got striped sweaters,
which made them sing sing sing!

Christmas Eve 2010
Tonight, Paul & I took the kids to church.
Everyone looked so nice, just like Christmas princesses!
Church was awesome,
I think this is the one we’ll start attending regularly.
Even the kids loved it,
and it’s rare to find something everyone likes at the same time!

Baking, cont'd....
More cookies done and the fudge (peanut butter) is poured!

Amy's mom dropped her off so she could spend the night
and help us make Christmas cookies!
It was a wonderful time with the girls,
and opened up the door for good conversation
about the real reason for Christmas,
and exactly why Jesus came to Earth for us.
Totally worth all the mess and cleanup.

New life, new hair!
Courtney's birthday is coming up in a week or so,
and all she wanted was a haircut.
She decided, "new life, new hair."
And she wasn't messing around!
She took it ALL off!
She wanted to donate it to Locks of Love,
but she couldn't because of all the layers in it.
Either way,
she feels great and LOVES her new hair!
And she looks gorgeous.
The pictures are great,
but they don't do it justice.
She looks REALLY cute.
And Emma got her bangs cut & looks really cute too!

Glendale Glitters....
The other night we went out to Glendale Glitters to see all the lights.
