Easter this year was pretty low-key.
The kids got their baskets, like always.
Then they searched the house for Easter eggs...
Then, instead of having one large meal in the middle of the day,
we had a brunch and then later on we had dinner at the normal time.
It was really nice and worked out well.
we had mimosas (non-alcoholic, of course).
Fresh fruit, waffles, bacon, sausage, mimosas... YUM.
Then in the evening, we had ham, scalloped potatoes, and green bean casserole while we watched
"The Passion of the Christ."
It was a very joyful day, full of gratitude for our Savior.
